I'm a 5th generation Montanan and I grew up with a paint brush in my hand. I loved exploring construction sites all over the state as well as my grandfather’s traveling art studio. He was an artist and I suppose you could say that my mom was too. She was a painter and decorator in the Billings area for over 35 years, and is still a color and wallpaper expert.
I reside in the Gallatin Valley and am married to my high school sweetheart. We have 3 children and my 7 year old daughter is eager to learn the design trade like I did from my mom.
The biggest misconception in design is that you cannot define the space without honing in on one specific style. I believe that personal and organic representation of your story is at the heart of beautiful décor. Over the past 15 years, I have strongly encouraged my clients to throw out stringent design techniques and guidelines in order to achieve their vision. Interior design trends can blind us from owning, honoring, and celebrating our home’s current elements and character.
